RaidPort is a 24/7 Twitch channel that runs an automated raid exchange. Streamers raid the channel, viewers vote, and a wheel picks who gets raided next. This page explains what we record while that happens, how to be left out of it, and the terms of taking part.
The short version. We store your public Twitch username, your user ID, and a
count of the raids between you and us. We do not ask for, receive, or store passwords, email
addresses, or payment details. Type !optout in our chat and the wheel will never
select you again.
Two ways, both immediate:
!optout in the RaidPort Twitch chat. Your channel
is removed from the wheel and from the pool we draw from when the wheel is empty. Type
!optin to undo it.Opting out is permanent until you reverse it, and it survives restarts. You do not need an account with us to opt out, because you never had one.
Ask at the same address and we will delete every row that refers to your channel, including the
raid history and the Portal Charges attached to it. We will confirm when it is done. If you only
want to stop being raided, !optout is faster and keeps your Charges in case you come
back.
| What | Why | Kept |
|---|---|---|
| Twitch username, display name and user ID | To put your channel on the wheel and to raid you back | Until you ask us to delete it |
| Raids in and out, with times and viewer counts | To work out Portal Charges and enforce the cooldown between raids | Until you ask us to delete it |
| Your stream's language, category, and whether you were live | To avoid raiding an offline channel | Refreshed each round, not archived |
Chat commands sent to our channel (!vote, !stop and so on) |
To run the round and to award viewer credits | Aggregated per round; individual messages are not stored |
| Bits, subscriptions and gifts on our channel, including any message you attach to a cheer or resub | To record what happened during a round | Until you ask us to delete it. Anonymous cheers and gifts are stored with no user ID attached |
All of it comes from Twitch's public APIs and from our own chat. We do not buy data, scrape other services, or combine what we hold with anything from elsewhere.
Nobody. We do not sell, rent, or share it. It lives on our own machine and in our own database. The only third party in the loop is Twitch itself, whose privacy notice covers everything you do on their platform.
Two things are visible on stream by design, because they are the show: your channel name on the wheel, and your channel's public Twitch art on the winner card.
Raid our channel and you earn a Portal Charge. A Charge puts your channel on the wheel. When the wheel selects you, we raid you with everyone watching.
What we do not promise. The wheel is random. A Portal Charge buys you a place on it, not a result. How long you wait depends on how many other streamers are taking part, on whether you are live when your name comes up, and on chance. We removed the word "guaranteed" from this site because it was not honest.
We only raid channels that raided us first, or, when nobody on the wheel is available, channels we find live on Twitch in the same category. If that is you and you would rather it were not, see Opting out above. We will not raid you again after that.
Do not use RaidPort to send viewers somewhere that breaks Twitch's rules, and do not use our chat to harass anyone. We can remove a channel from the wheel at our discretion, and we will do so for anything that puts our viewers or our channel at risk.
There is no paid tier, no paid placement, and no way to buy a better position on the wheel. Subscriptions and bits on our channel are appreciated but buy no advantage.
RaidPort is one channel run by one person on one machine. It goes down sometimes. Charges you have earned are stored in the database and survive a restart.
If this page changes in a way that affects what we collect or what we promise, the date at the top changes with it.
