RaidPort is a 24/7 Twitch channel that runs a raid gameshow. Streamers raid the channel, each raid earns a Charge (a slice on the wheel), chat votes on categories to shape the wheel, and the wheel picks who gets raided next. This page explains what we record while that happens, how to be left out of it, and the terms of taking part.
The short version. We store your public Twitch username and user ID, and a
record of what happens between you and the show: raids, rounds and results. We do not ask for,
receive, or store passwords or payment details. Type !optout in our chat and the
wheel will never select you again.
Two ways, both immediate:
!optout in the RaidPort Twitch chat. Your channel
is removed from the wheel and from the pool we draw from when the wheel is empty. Type
!optin to undo it.Opting out is permanent until you reverse it. It is tied to your Twitch account, so changing your name does not undo it. You do not need an account with us to opt out, because you never had one.
Ask at the same address and we will erase you. Everything that is only about you is deleted,
including your Portal Charges. Records shared with other people, such as past rounds, keep their
numbers but lose your name and Twitch user ID, so totals still add up without identifying you. If
you had opted out or had ever raided us, we keep your Twitch user ID alone, with no name, only to
remember that you opted out (so we never raid you again) and that your first-raid bonus was used.
We will confirm when it is done. If you only want to stop being raided, !optout is faster
and keeps your Charges in case you come back.
| What | Why | Kept |
|---|---|---|
| Twitch username, display name and user ID | To run the show: the wheel, raids, and your UFO on stream | Until you ask us to delete it |
| Raids, rounds, votes and results, with times and viewer counts | To run Portal Charges, cooldowns and viewer credits, and to report on the show over time | Until you ask us to delete it |
| Public channel details from Twitch, such as language, category and whether you are live | To decide who can be put on the wheel and raided | Until you ask us to delete it |
| Viewers in our chat, their UFO and their UFO credits | To show your UFO and count the rounds you were part of. !hide keeps your UFO
off screen |
Until you ask us to delete it |
| Bits, subscriptions and gifts on our channel, including any message you attach to a cheer or resub | To record what happened during a round | Until you ask us to delete it. Anonymous ones carry no user ID |
| Service logs (including chat commands sent to our channel) and backups | To keep the show running and recover from problems | Removed automatically on a rolling schedule |
"Until you ask us to delete it" means exactly that: we do not delete those on a schedule. Round history is kept so the show can report what has happened over time.
All of it comes from Twitch's public APIs and from our own chat. We do not buy data, scrape other services, or combine what we hold with anything from elsewhere.
We do not sell, rent, or share it. The show runs on our own machine and database. Like most sites we rely on a few service providers to operate: Twitch itself, whose privacy notice covers everything you do on their platform, plus providers for hosting, backups, and this website's forms and visitor statistics (Google Analytics). The video on the home page is hosted by YouTube; nothing is loaded from YouTube until you press play, and from then on YouTube's own privacy policy applies to the player.
Some things are visible on stream by design, because they are the show: channel names and public Twitch art on the wheel and winner cards, viewer names and credit counts on UFOs, and messages in our chat.
Raid our channel and you earn a Portal Charge, at most once every 8 hours. A Charge puts your channel on the wheel. Raiding in, or being raided by us, sits your channel off the wheel for 8 hours. When the wheel selects you, we raid you with everyone watching and one Charge is used. Bonus rounds never use one. If raids to you keep failing because of your channel's raid settings, you can lose Charges.
What we do not promise. The wheel is random. A Portal Charge buys you a place on it, not a result. How long you wait depends on how many other streamers are taking part, on whether you are live when your name comes up, and on chance. We removed the word "guaranteed" from this site because it was not honest.
We only raid channels that raided us first, or, in a bonus round when too few of them are live, small English-language affiliate and partner channels we find live on Twitch. If that is you and you would rather it were not, see Opting out above. We will not raid you again after that.
Do not use RaidPort to send viewers somewhere that breaks Twitch's rules, and do not use our chat to harass anyone. We can remove a channel from the wheel at our discretion, and we will do so for anything that puts our viewers or our channel at risk.
There is no paid tier, no paid placement, and no way to buy a better position on the wheel. Subscriptions and bits on our channel are appreciated but buy no advantage.
RaidPort is one channel run by one person on one machine. It goes down sometimes. Charges you have earned are stored in the database and survive a restart.
If this page changes in a way that affects what we collect or what we promise, the date at the top changes with it.
RaidPort is an independent project. It is not endorsed by, sponsored by, or affiliated with Twitch Interactive, Inc. "Twitch" is their trademark.
